Tengo un portatil al que le he mtio el xp y no hay forma de que funcione la red, de normal da conectividad limitada o nula y si le meto la ip a huevo se quita el dichoso mensajito pero sigue sin funcionar

una solucion quiero antes de tirarlo por la ventana.
Ya he mirado mil paginah de internet y naranjas de la china, sus soluciones no valen.

Mete la IP a chorón y hazle un ping al router, para meterle miedo.
No se muy bien lo que he dicho pero si chuta me lo dices, que me haria ilusion.

No, en serio, yo siempre digo lo mismo: Llama al hamable sudaca de turno.

Es tanto cablemodem con cable directo como wifi, de ninguna forma se conecta, intente un par de pings y me mando a tomar pol saco. He leido por ahi que el xp SP2 producia algo de lo que em pasa a mi, pero nunca me habia pasado y las soluciones que dan (mirar a ver si el cliente dhcp esta activado, renovar la ip, meter la ip a mano, etc..) no funcionan. El caso es que antes de formatear estaba con xp y conectaba bien, el dueño quiso formatar porque tardaba mucho en arrancar y ahora estamos con estas.

Asegúrate de que sólo esté marcado el protocolo TCP/IP. Nada de compartir archivos e impresoras o QoS o mierdas por el estilo.

Ah, y si tienes pestaña de 802.1X, espero que no tengas marcada la autenticación.
